What should you do if you see wildlife for sale or in captivity?
- Please don’t pay any money to purchase the animal. While it may seem like the right thing to do in the moment, it only shows the seller that people are willing to pay for illegally captured animals.
- Record as much detail as possible about what you have seen, and where. Take photos if it is safe to do so, and record the exact location.
- Report what you have seen! No action can be taken if nobody knows about it. Please file a report with local wildlife authorities or a non-profit rescue organisation like us.
- If the animal is at a tourist attraction, leave a review to share what you have seen with others. This can inform any future visitors not to visit places that exploit animals.
Please help us by reporting wildlife crime in Laos wherever you see it
The more detail you can provide, the better chance we have to help the animal. You can contact us via phone, email, Facebook message or directly through the form below.
Our telephone rescue hotline is available 24/7 in spoken English, and 9am – 5pm (Laos time GMT+7) in spoken English and Lao.
Unfortunately, due to our limited resources we are unable to take in any domesticated animals such as cats and dogs.
